EQT
EQUILIBRIUM TECHNOLOGY

THE TECHNOLOGY WITH MAXIMUM STABILITY AND MINIMUM ENERGY CONSUMPTION

The Technology

In order to guarantee top performance in terms of postural stability, EQUILIBRIUM TECHNOLOGY is used to make products for sport and physical wellbeing.

In-depth studies coordinated by the ACCAPI laboratory have led to excellent results in terms of improving energy expenditure when upright, statically and dynamically, and wearing garments created with EQT.

CONFIRMED BY SCIENCE

“The research was carried out by highly specialized technicians, medical professionals and groups of active athletes, with the “double blind” method, using the “sprint it” 4-sensor Cyber Sabot stabilometric platform, made in France and guaranteed by Certification European (the most reliable currently on the market). It is a tool that allows you to measure in real time and suitable for each person (weight, height, shoe number), the body oscillations in static and dynamic position, which are then expressed in numerical and statistical values.”.

THE RESULTS

The analysis of the parameters in the group of subjects showed that with an ACCAPI EQT garment there was on average a tendency to reduce energy expenditure (indices: ball length, variation of vitesse and LFS). It is also evident instead how in terms of the Ball Area (index linked to stability) the ACCAPI EQT garment highlights the lowest average value which can therefore be connected to a smaller amplitude of the oscillations and to a more effective strategy for maintaining stability. The analysis of the records of each subject led to verify that the item called EQT is the one that favors an improvement in the support strategy not so much in terms of absolute values of the parameters, but in terms of a greater number of parameters that vary favorably.

LENGTH OF THE STATOKINESIGRAM

This represents the length of centre-of-pressure paths for the feet detected in a time interval of 25.6 seconds.
This index describes the extent of centre-of-pressure displacements for the feet or “the path” of the subject’s weight distribution.

SURFACE AREA OF THE STATOKINESIGRAM

This is the value of the ellipse area around the statokinesigram, calculated by using 90% of the detected positions (limit of confidence). This index is linked to the stability of the subject.

AVERAGE SPEED VARIATION

This represents the average speed variation of the centre-of-pressure for the feet during data acquisition.
This index is correlated to the change in tonic postural activity and consequently energy expenditure.

AVERAGE LFS INDEX

This is the ratio of the length of the statokinesidagram to the ellipse area around it. This index is also a measure of energy expenditure.
